ASICS READING HALF MARATHON - 2nd March 2008

It was dry and windy as our intrepid volunteers and super-fit runners turned up at the Madejski Stadium from 07:00am on Sunday morning for the 26th ASICS Reading Half Marathon – over 15,000 runners – the highest ever.  All went smoothly as the runners took 15 minutes to cross the start line – the easiest person to spot was Kevin Grove with his AS T shirt, cap and 30lb back pack!!!  We wished all our runners well and look forward now to hearing how they did and if they reached their target times.  An enormous thank you to all of our runners and our volunteers.

Runners: Tim Ballard, Emma Buckley, Michael Donnithorne, Kevin Grove, Jemma Ryan, Jon Ryan, Lucy Sullivan and Alex Taylor
